What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a gentle, pain-free form of physical exfoliation that leaves the skin instantly smoother, brighter and makeup-ready. Using a sterile, single-use surgical blade on clean, dry skin, your therapist carefully sweeps away built-up dead skin and soft vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) for a silky, glass-skin finish—no downtime.
It’s also a brilliant prep step before other treatments (think LED, peels or IPL) because it improves product penetration and helps results go further.

No—dermaplaning doesn’t change hair type, colour or growth rate. It returns exactly as it was.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, it’s suitable for most skin types, including sensitive. We’ll tailor pressure and finishing products to keep your skin calm.
Can I have it if I get breakouts?
We can treat around the area, but we’ll avoid any active pustular acne, open lesions or sunburn and reschedule if needed.
Who isn’t it right for today?
If you have active pustular acne, open cuts, recent sunburn, a fresh peel/laser, or are using strong prescription exfoliants, we’ll pick a better time. If you’re on blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder, please let us know so we can advise safely.
